I love to take photos...
... and I have tried many forms of photography (apart from glamour as I'm not very glamorous, and self-portrait as I just can't bring myself to look that closely at myself). Sunsets, Landscapes, Events, Music 'Gigs' and Architectural views are big favourites of mine. Street photography and 'reportage' are not usually in my purview and I tend to steer clear of those sorts of subjects. I try to take interesting images and am prepared to wait for the right moment in which to push the button to get the 'shot'.
Here are a few more of my photos, but these are newer and like all my work on here; please don't use my work without at least citing where it came from!

Some photos of a recent gig - 'The musical box' [genesis tribute band] [02oct18]
I took over 400 images at the Gig (at the 'Cliffs Pavilion' in Southend) and these are what I consider to be the 'highlights' at first glance. None of them have been 'Photoshopped' at all, although they might all have been cropped (just a little). When I have some time (hah!) I'll go through them all and make the sort of adjustments I think they might need. For the first gig with my 6D they are not too bad; but I can see where I could have made them perhaps a little better by playing around even more with the settings (or perhaps stop playing around with them!).
If you like the music of Genesis, then I have to say that 'The Musical Box' are like seeing them mid-70's; a little raw and not as polished as they would become, but with an innate musicality and joy in the music that drives you along. A great time!
